7 DIY Homemade Pumpkin Face Masks for Glowing Skin

For every face pack you have to boil a few pieces of pumpkin and then puree them to get a smooth paste. You should use this puree in every face pack.

Pumpkin face pack for acne:

Take the white of an egg in a bowl and add one teaspoon of the pumpkin puree to it. Mix them well and then apply the mixture on your face, especially on the T-zone area of your face. Wait for 20 minutes and let the pack dry. Then you can wash your face with cool water.

This helps in removing blemishes and spots from the skin. Egg white contains protein, which can remove dead skin cells and the bacteria that cause acne. This way your face will stay hydrated and evenly toned.

Pumpkin and banana face pack for cellulite scrub:

Take 2 teaspoons of pumpkin puree in a bowl and add 2 raw banana puree, ½ teaspoon of honey and 2 teaspoons of sugar to it. Mix all the ingredients well and apply it evenly on your face and neck. Let it remain on your face for about 15 minutes and then you can scrub it off in circular motion. Wash your face with warm water.

Pumpkin face mask for dry skin:

Take one teaspoon of the pumpkin puree in a bowl and add one teaspoon of whipped cream and honey to it. Whipped cream or malai is rich in aplpha-hydroxy acid, which has moisturizing properties. Now add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar or white sugar. Sugar acts as an exfoliater and helps in getting rid of dead skin cell. It is also good for removing oil and grease from your face. Mix all the ingredients well and then scrub your face with it in a gentle manner. Wait for about 15 minutes and then you can wash your face with warm water.

Take the white of an egg in a bowl and add 2 teaspoons of the pumpkin puree to the bowl. Now you have to add one teaspoon of raw milk into the bowl and then mix all the ingredients well to get a smooth paste. Apply this paste all over your face. Pumpkin face pack for oily skin:

Take one teaspoon of the pumpkin puree you have made in a bowl and add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to it. You may also add lemon juice instead of apple cider vinegar. This is a good toner and helps in regulating the pH level. Now add one teaspoon of brown or white sugar. Mix them well and then scrub your face gently with this mixture in a circular motion. Let the mask remain on your face for 15 minutes and then you can wash it off with warm water.

Pumpkin face mask for all skin types:

Take a teaspoon of the puree you have made in a bowl and add half teaspoon of honey and milk to it. Lactic acid in milk is good for getting rid of dead skin. Next you have to grind some cinnamon sticks to get a fine powder. Add a pinch of this powder to the face mask. Cinnamon helps in increasing blood circulation and improving the exfoliating properties the mask. If your skin is very sensitive, you should avoid using cinnamon powder because this can irritate your skin. Mix all the ingredients well and apply it all over your face. Let it remain on your face for about 10 minutes and then you can wash your face with warm water.
