Hibiscus for Hair Growth: Benefits and How to Use?

How to use Hibiscus for Hair Growth?

Coconut milk and hibiscus for dry hair:

What you will need:

  • 2 tbsp crushed hibiscus petals
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp yogurt 4 tbsp aloe vera gel

Processing time:

30 minutes

Application Process:

  • Mix all the ingredients well to get a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste on your scalp and hair and wait for 30 minutes.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Use this once a week.

Egg and hibiscus for hair growth:

What you will need:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp crushed hibiscus flower

Processing time:

20 minutes

Application Process:

  • Mix both the ingredients in a bowl till you get a consistent paste.
  • Apply this paste on your hair well so that all your hair gets covered.
  • Wait for 20 minutes with this pack on your hair and then you can wash it off with a mild shampoo.
  • Use this once a week.

Ginger and hibiscus leaves for hair re-growth:

What you will need:

  • 1 tbsp ginger juice
  • 2 tbsp crushed hibiscus flowers

Processing time:

30 minutes

Application Process:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl so that you get a smooth paste.
  • Now take your hair in sections and apply this paste well on your scalp. Work it down from the roots to the tips of hair.
  • Once all your hair is covered with the paste, wait for 20 minutes.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Use this twice a week.

Hibiscus induced hair oil:

What you will need:

  • 8 hibiscus flowers
  • 8 hibiscus leaves
  • 1 cup of coconut oil

Processing time:

45 minutes

Application Process:

  • Wash the hibiscus flowers and leaves and then grind them to get a fine paste.
  • Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan and add the hibiscus paste to it.
  • Heat for about 2 minutes and then turn off the flame and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Let the oil cool.
  • Once it has cooled, take 2 or 3 tablespoons of the oil and massage your scalp with it using your finger tips. Work it down to the tips of your hair.
  • Store the rest of the oil in a jar or bottle.
  • Once you have covered your entire hair with the oil, massage your scalp again for about 10 minutes. Let the oil remain on your hair for about 30 minutes.
  • Wash it off with a mild shampoo.
  • Apply this thrice a week.

Hibiscus and yogurt hair mask for stronger hair:

What  you will need:

  • 1 hibiscus flower
  • 3-4 hibiscus leaves
  • 4 tbsp of yogurt

Processing time:

1 hour

Application Process:

  • Grind hibiscus flower and eaves to get a fine paste.
  • Mix it with yogurt well so that you get a smooth paste.
  • Apply this on your hair and wait for about 1 hour.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water and mild shampoo.
  • Apply this twice a week.

Hibiscus and mehendi anti-dandruff hair pack:

What you will need:

  • A handful of hibiscus flowers
  • A handful of hibiscus leaves
  • A handful of mehendi leaves
  • ½ a lemon

Processing time:

1 hour

Application Process:

  • Grind the mehendi leaves and hibiscus flowers and leaves. Now add the juice of the lemon to it and mix well to get a paste.
  • Apply this paste on your hair and scalp. Let it remain on your hair for about one hour.
  • Wash it off with shampoo.
  • Apply this once in two weeks.

Hibiscus shampoo:

What you will need:

  • 15 hibiscus leaves
  • 5 hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp gram flour

Processing time:

5 minutes

Application Process:

  • Boil the flowers and leaves of hibiscus in a cup of water and then keep it aside for cooling.
  • After it gets cooled, you can add gram flour to it.
  • Wash your hair with this shampoo instead of your regular shampoo.
  • Use this thrice a week.

Hibiscus deep conditioning treatment:

What you need:

  • 8 hibiscus flowers
  • water

Processing time:

1 hour

Application Process:

  • Crush the flowers and add water that is sufficient to get a fine consistent paste.
  • Apply this paste on your scalp ad hair and let it remain for one hour.
  • Now was it off with lukewarm water.
  • Use this twice a week.

Hibiscus and onion for hair re-growth:

What you will need:

  • 1 onion
  • A bunch of hibiscus leaves
  • ¼ cup water

Processing time:

20 minutes

Application Process:

  • Grind the onion to get a pulp. Now collect the juice from the onion pulp in to a bowl using a muslin cloth.
  • Grind the hibiscus leaves with some water and collect the juice from it using a muslin cloth.
  • Mix both the juices well and apply it on your scalp and hair in sections. After you whole hair is covered with the mixture, let it remain on your hair for 15 minutes. Then you can wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Use this thrice a week.
