Best Home Remedies to Remove Tan Permanently from Skin:

Aloe- Red lentil- Tomato pack:

Red lentil, which is more commonly known as masoor dal, is something that we can find in every north Indian kitchen. This dal has got amazing tan removing properties, and when combined with, aloe and tomato extracts, it can make a very powerful tan removal pack. Just soak a tablespoon of masoor dal and then make a rough paste with it.tho this paste you made, add equal quantities of tomato paste and aloe extracts. Keep it applied on your skin for half an hour and then wash it off with cold water.

Buttermilk and oatmeal pack:

This is one pack which is very simple and easy to make and which will never disappoint you. Just mix together 3 tablespoons of buttermilk with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. Massage this pack on the tan affected areas in a circular motion. Buttermilk is capable of soothing your skin and healing all the blisters, while oats is a good natural exfoliate that helps in revealing the younger looking skin.

Honey and papaya pack:

To make your skin bright and radiant, all you need is a few spoons of papaya. Papaya has been used in skin whitening, renewal and exfoliation products from the time immemorial. Honey also has been used since long time because of its properties that help in making the skin soft and supple. Mix half cup of ripe papaya with a tablespoon of honey and blend it well. Apply this mixture on your face for half an hour and then wash it off using cold or lukewarm water.

Ice cubes:

Rubbing in some ice cubes on the sunburn affected areas will help in reducing the burning and itchiness that accompanies bad cases of sun tan. You can also simply soak in a bath of cold water to bring down the symptoms of sunburn.

Lemon Juice:

Lemon juice is used by many to remove scars from the face. You can use the same lemon juice to reduce the tan from your skin, and that too without making your skin dry. All you need to do is just slice up a lemon and then rub it on the tanned areas in your skin. Leave it like that for some time before you go have your bath. Do this regularly so that you can find visible results on your skin within 2-4 months.

Lemon juice, rose water and cucumber pack

If you find using of lemon juice on your skin to be a little harsh, you can try making this face pack and use it at home. To make the pack, just mix a tablespoon each of lemon juice, rose water and cucumber extract in a bowl. Apply this mixture generously on the areas of the skin which is tanned. While the lemon juice helps in removing the tan, rose water and cucumber extract will help in soothing your burnt and blemished skin.

Milk and turmeric:

Combine a pinch of turmeric powder and milk in a bowl. Apply this mixture on your face and let it dry. Repeat this process daily until the tan gets removed. You will also see your skin becoming softer.

Strawberry and milk:

Crush together 5 strawberries with two tablespoons of fresh milk cream. Apply this on your face and other areas affected by tan for 30 minutes before rinsing it off. This is one tasty pack that you will love to use and will definitely find it difficult to resist yourself from licking it off your face.

Turmeric and Bengal gram flour pack:

For those who are looking for faster results, this pack might help you. Mix two tablespoons of Bengal gram flour and a pinch of turmeric in a bowl. To this mixture add a tablespoon of rose water and milk. You may add a tablespoon of crushed and powdered orange peel to this if you want. Mix this pack well and then apply it on the cleansed areas and leave it like that for around 20 minutes. When this pack becomes dry, then moisten your skin with a few drops of water. Then remove the pack gently by rubbing in clockwise and anticlockwise direction till your skin gets all the benefits from this pack. To get best results, you may apply this pack on every alternate day.

Yogurt and tomato pack:

This is the best pack for all those who wish to reduce pigmentation and dark spots. Tomato has got citric properties which makes it a natural tan remover. It can also work on spots and pigmentation and also act as a toner that opens up the pores on the skin and in turn reduces the oiliness naturally. Yogurt is a natural bleaching agent that helps to combat sun tan naturally. To make this pack, all you need to do is just mix one tablespoon of tomato paste and yogurt, and then apply the paste on your face. Let it be on your face for 30 minutes until it gets dry. Now cleanse it off using water.
