There are many solutions to lose this tan that can be easily made up using commonly available natural ingredients. These natural face packs can keep your skin healthy and glowing. These homemade face packs may not make you look extremely fair, but it will definitely give back your natural and original complexion. Let us see some easy to make DIY homemade masks recipes which would be helpful for all those who have dark skin.

Gram Flour, Turmeric and Lime Juice Mask:

This is a powerful face pack for dark skin, and is highly effective because of the presence of lime as an ingredient. All you need to make this is 1 tablespoon of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of gram flour or besan, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, and some rose water. Just mix all these ingredients together and then apply this mixture well over your face. Let this face pack sit and dry on your face. When dried, rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Lemon juice is found to be highly helpful in reducing the accumulated tan. And gram flour is a very good exfoliate and cleanser. Turmeric has many antibacterial properties and hence is found to be good in acting against various skin problems. The rose water which we use to make this face pack is a good natural toner. All these make this face pack a powerful punch against tan for dry skin people.

Honey and Lime Juice Mask:

This is a very simple face pack recipe.  All you need is 2 tablespoons of honey and two tablespoons of lime juice. Take equal amounts of both of these ingredients and mix them well to prepare the face pack. Apply this face pack and keep it there for 15 to 20 minutes. After that, rinse it off using lukewarm water.

Honey is a very good ingredient that has a lot of antibacterial properties. It also has got anti-inflammatory properties and acts against blemishes and scars.  It also helps in evening out the skin.

Milk Powder, Olive Oil and Lime Juice Mask:

Milk powder is found to be helpful in hydrating and nourishing the skin. It is something that best suits for combination skin people. To make this face pack, you will require 1 tablespoon of milk powder, half a tablespoon of either almond or olive oil, 1 tablespoon of lime juice and 1 tablespoon of honey.

Just mix all these ingredients together to form the face pack and then simply apply it over your face and keep it there for around 20 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water afterwards. If you have an oily skin, you can also try adding fuller’s earth. Regular use of this face pack can give you a glowing skin. This face pack will be also helpful in removing acne marks.

Milk, Honey and Lime Juice Mask:

This is an easy to make recipe with all ingredients being always available in any kitchen. You need 3 tablespoons of milk, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of honey and a pinch of turmeric powder.

Milk is a good cleanser. Along with cleansing the skin, it also moisturises and evens out the skin tone well. Just mix all these above said ingredients together and use it as a face pack. Leave it there until it gets dry and after that rinse it off using lukewarm water.

Papaya, Yogurt and Egg White Mask:

This is a very easy to make face pack for dry skin people. This will help in moisturising and lightening dark skin. Let us see what all is required to make this.

  • 2 tablespoon yogurt.
  • 2 tablespoon papaya juice
  • Glycerine for dry skin
  • Egg white
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Almond/olive/or groundnut oil for dry skin.

Just grind a small piece of papaya and then mix it with vinegar, yogurt and almond, olive or groundnut oil that you have taken. Mix it well and then keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours. Now when cooled, take this pack and egg white and glycerine to it. Your papaya and egg white mask is ready now. Apply this pack on the face and keep it there for around 20 to 30 minutes. Now rinse it off with lukewarm water.

This face pack is quite helpful because papaya is a fruit which helps in skin lightening and also to even out the skin tone. This fruit is also found to be helpful in fighting against blemishes. The other important ingredient, yogurt is helpful in fighting against skin problems and it is also a very good cleanser. Apple cider vinegar is something which is helpful in removing blemishes overnight if applied before sleeping. Egg white is good in working against sagging of skin and glycerine and other oils are helpful in moisturizing the skin.

Tomato and Honey Mask:

Yet another simple face pack with just two ingredients; Tomato and honey. Just mash a tomato and then mix it with honey. Apply this mixture on your face and keep it there for some 20 to 30 minutes. You will find your skin glowing after you remove it using lukewarm water. Tomato has a lot of skin lightening properties. If you apply it regularly, you can see wonderful results on your skin. I guess this is the easiest of all the face packs that you can make at home.
