  • Wash bitter gourd well and draw thin slices from it.
  • Leave the skin intact.
  • You may also use the leaves of this plant to make tea.
  • Take the slices or leaves and put them in boiling water.
  • Boil for 5 to 10 minutes, so that the slice/leaves steep.
  • Remove the slices/leaves from the liquid and serve the broth.
  • If you don’t like it butter, you can add sweeteners to remove the bitterness.

Ingredients needed:

  • 2 cups of dried or fresh bitter gourd
  • 2 cups of water
  • Honey or sugar, if required

Preparation Method:

Step 1: Boil the water in a pot and then add the chopped bitter gourd.

Step 2: Cover the pot with a lid and boil for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Remove from the heat and steep it for another 10 minutes.

Step 4: Strain the mixture.

Step 5: Add sugar or honey if you want it sweet.

Your tea is ready!
