Face gains weight very easily and the worst part of it is that you could hardly hide it. It is also not very easy to get rid of fat from the face. However, by following a weight loss program regularly and doing some facial exercises, you can lose fat on your face. Along with the exercise, it is also important that you follow a well balanced diet.

Lose Weight off your Face

Facial fat can happen due to many reasons like soft facial muscles, being overweight, genetics and ageing. Consuming too much of alcohol is also responsible for giving you a chubby face. You must know that it is not possible to lose weight from only one part of the body. You have to do workout for your whole body and this will help you get a thinner face.

Say NO to Alcohol:

1 gm of alcohol contains about 7 calories. So, it makes you fat and also dehydrates your body, which leads to water retention. This can make you fat. So, avoid alcohol if you want to lose weight. It is also a depressant. So, if you are an emotional eater, never consume alcohol.

Exercise to Lose Weight of Complete Face Easily:

Exercise is an excellent way to lose fat on your face. It helps in increasing the circulation of blood, which burns the extra fat by producing sweat.

  1. Running is very effective and easy to perform. Run or jog daily and this will help you to lose fat effectively. Running or cycling help you to lose weigh on your face and keep you fit and healthy.
  2. To reduce the fat on the areas around your eyes, you have to close your eyes gently and look up and down. Do it slowly and make sure that you do it several times a day.
  3. Lie on the bed and then open your eyes wide. Now raise your eyebrows as high as you can. Relax and repeat it ten times.
  4. To make the chin area slim, you have to extend your chin and the bottom lip out and up. You have to do this exercise ten times a day.
  5. Exercise your facial muscles in various ways like raising and lowering the eyebrows, wrinkling the nose and alternately smiling and puckering the lips. Practice each of these exercise ten times.
  6. Smile as wide as it is possible for you, and try to take your tongue close to your nose. Remain in this position for about 5 seconds and repeat it as many times as you can.

Food and Water intake Regulation:

Avoid Junk Foods:

Dairy products are good for your body. So, try to include them in your diet. Milk and other dairy products can increase the calcium content in your body. Junk foods are bad for health and must be avoided. Try not to consume oily foods and deeply fried foods like pakoras. You can have pulses, which contain protein in high amounts. Junk foods contain high quantities of fat. So, if you want to lose weight on your face, try not to have such foods.

Caffeine is Dangerous:

Avoid caffeine completely during the first two weeks of your weight loss regime.

Drink More Water :

Water has a great role in helping you lose weight on your face. Many of us never take care to drink as much water as is required. It is said that you will have to drink at least 3 liters of water every day. You must never cut on it. When you take less water, your body retains water. Water retention by the body can affect your body adversely. Most common effect of water retention is obesity. So, one of the important aspects of losing weight is the intake of water regularly. By drinking lots of water you can not only lose weight, but also you will have a beautiful and healthy skin. If you do not like to have plain water, you can add some lime juice to it. Try to include sugar free juices and green tea in your regular diet. When you go for a workout, consume enough water. If not, you will not sweat properly. Sweating is important and it helps in unclogging the pores and increasing the circulation of blood. Drinking lots of water helps in removing all unnecessary water from the body and this way it helps in getting rid of weight from the face.

Eat Fresh Fruits and Vegetables:

Try to include lots of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits in your daily diet. At least 3 servings of fruits and vegetable per day are recommended. These are rich in fiber and help in keeping you full for a longer time. They are also rich in water content and this helps in keeping you hydrated, thus avoiding bloating. Some fruits contain high calories. So be careful that you choose fruits with low calories. You can select apples, oranges, lemons and berries. These are loaded with antioxidants, which can help you lose fat on your face.

Limit sugar and salt:

Try to reduce the amount of sugar and salt that you take. Both these contain high amounts of sodium and this can lead to the accumulation of fat. Refined sugar and salt in the diet can cause water retention and make your face look fatter. Sodium prevents flushing out of unwanted fluids. As a result, they continue to accumulate in your body and can make extra fat deposition. It is also advised to avoid street foods as you don’t know how much sugar or salt is added to these foods.

Never Eat Before Bed:

Stop the habit of eating food before you go to bed. This is not good for you, especially if you are trying to get rid of fat. The reason for it is that when you eat before you go to bed, the body’s metabolism slows down and it is not able to work efficiently. As a result, your body will not burn fat properly and you will have to work hard the next day to burn the extra fat.

Quit Smoking:

Smoking can make you look older and also cause sagging of the skin. By quitting smoking, your skin will get regular supply of Vitamin C. This makes your skin elastic, which helps in losing weight on your face.
