How to Remove Dark Circles in 2 to 5 Days: Best Treatment

Have you ever thought that you can remove dark circles in just 2 to 5 days? You may be thinking that it is impossible. Treatment for Dark Circles:

Almond oil:

Apply a few drops of almond oil on the skin around your eyes every night before you go to sleep. Let it remain on your skin for the whole night and then you can wash it off in the morning. This helps in lightening the dark circles. This is one of the best home remedies for dark circles. In addition to using almond oil, you can also use Vitamin E oil for removing dark circles.

Cold compress:

Put some tea bags in the refrigerator for some time and then take them out and place them over your eyes. Leave it for about 15 minutes. This helps in invigorating the skin and reducing the dark circles. This is because of its cooling properties and the presence of caffeine.

Cucumber to remove dark circles in 2 days:

Cucumber is known for its skin lightening and mild astringent properties. So, it is great for reducing dark circles. They also help in soothing and refreshing your eyes. Cut cucumber into thick slices and keep them in the fridge for some time, till it is chilled. Now put these slices over your dark circles for about 10 minutes. Wash the area with water. You can do this twice daily for about a week to get best results.

Another way to use cucumber is to mix equal amounts of cucumber juice with lemon juice and apply it the mixture on your dark circles with a cotton ball. Wait for 15 minutes and then wash with water. This will help to remove dark circles in just 2 days.

Drink water:

Keep your body hydrated by drinking plenty of water daily. This helps in preventing the appearance of dark circles. Try to drink about 14 to 15 glasses of pure drinking water every day. This can keep your eyes looking fresh and reduce dark circles. It is also important to reduce the intake of salt, as salt can make your body dehydrated.

Get sufficient sleep:

Try to get at least 8 hours sleep every night to and this will help you remove dark circles in 5 days. It can also help in removing the under eye bags. When you do not sleep properly, your skin gets thinner at certain areas. The blood goes to these areas of the skin and cause dark circles.

Healthy diet

Make sure that you have a well balanced and healthy diet. This can help you get rid of dark circles in 2 or 5 days. Try to include salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, beans, dairy products, yogurt, unprocessed milk, sprouts and lentils in your diet.


Ice-cream, because of its cooling properties, is good for removing dark circles in 5 days. Just apply some ice-cream over your dark circles and wash it off after some time.

Lemon juice:

Lemon juice is rich in Vitamin C and also has bleaching properties. Take the juice of lemon and apply it below your eyes with a cotton ball. Wait for half an hour and then wipe it off with a damp cloth. You can do it three to four times a day and soon you will see that your dark circles are getting lighter.

Rose water:

Rose water is known for its cooling properties and is good for removing dark circles. All you have to do is to steep some cotton ball in rose water and apply on your closed eyelids. Leave it for about 15 minutes. With regular application of rose water you can remove dark circles.

Raw potato:

Raw potato has bleaching properties which help in getting rid of the dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Take one or two potatoes and grate them to extract the juice. Dip a cotton ball in it and place it over your closed eyelids. Make sure that the juice is applied on your under eye area as well as the lids. Let the juice remain on your eyes for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with cool water. Repeat once or twice daily.

Toner to remove dark circles in 5 days:

Mix 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel or juice with 1 tablespoon of cucumber juice and mix them well. Apply this around your eyes. You may also mix in one teaspoon of asparagus juice or black tea. Cool this mixture for 20 minutes and then dip a cotton ball in it and wipe around your eyes softly. Let it dry and then you can apply cream, makeup or serums on your skin.


Tomato also has bleaching properties and is good for getting rid of dark circles. All you have to do is to mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with one-half teaspoon of lemon juice and apply the mixture on your dark circles. Leave it for 10 minutes and then you can wash it off with water. Doing this twice daily for a few weeks can help you remove dark circles. You can also use tomato juice alone for the removal of dark circles.

Drinking one glass of tomato juice to which some mint leaves are added also works. Drink the juice as soon as you make it for getting the best results.

    Can you mix up these ideas? I mean, would it work better to try tomato one day & potatoes the next? Or I wonder if you mix a few of these together in a dish & apply if you would get optimal results?
